The Donut Shop is a small business located in indianapolis, Indiana. In the beginning, this tiny shop was known as Mister Donut.

Mister Donut was the name of a large donut company founded in the early 1950's. On February of 1990, Dunkin Donut's parent company bought the Mister Donut trademark. It was at that time that the shop owner, Romeo Reyes, decided to break free from working under the name of the larger donut chain and made the business into his own.

Today, the business is known as The Donut Shop Bakery and Restaurant and has expanded from donuts-only to making a wide variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
